This is the UltraPath line amp that first appeared in Vacuum Tube Valley, Issue #10. It may also be used as a headphone amp. This is a very simple design that exhibits world class sonics. We recommend building it with a separate power supply chassis for the ultimate in low noise floor to keep the power transformer and filter choke away from the sensitive output stage. All transformers and chokes are from Electra-Print Audio. This will make a fine project for someone who has not built tubed equipment before or for an experienced builder who has need for an active preamp or headphone amp.
